The Ashes of the Blood-Mist Citadel
High within the jagged peaks of the Shadow-Spire Mountains lie the charred ruins of the Blood-Mist Citadel, a fortress once held by an ancient order of Crimson Knights. Legend tells of a desperate final siege where the citadel's archmage unleashed a forbidden blood-bound storm, vaporizing both invader and defender in a plume of white ash and dark crimson smoke.
Centuries later, an order of grave-smiths visited the battlefield and trapped the lingering aftermath within seven sharp-edged crystal polyhedrals.
Suspended inside each glass-clear resin face are thick, ghostly ribbons of white ash-fog clashing with ink-black shadows. Etched across every side are metallic rose-crimson numerals, painted with the same shimmering hue as the ancient blood-magic that sealed the citadel’s fate:
- The Ghostly Ash-Swirls: Capture the lingering souls of the fallen, channeling necromantic focus, veil-stepping, and protective wards.
- The Metallic Crimson Runes: Pulse with aggressive, blood-bound magic, driving martial strikes and high-damage spells with ruthless precision.
Known as The Blood-Ash Relics, these dice carry the weight of fallen warriors and volatile blood-magic. They are exceptionally well-suited for Blood Hunters, Shadow Magic Sorcerers, Oathbreaker Paladins, or Necromancy Wizards seeking to dominate the battlefield.
What kind of character will be wielding these blood-and-ash dice in your campaign?
