The Breath of the Frost-Siren
Far across the northern wastes lies the Sapphire Trench, a place where the Elemental Plane of Ice bled into the depths of a sunless sea. It is said that when a Siren of the Glacial Trench sings her final song, her dying breath freezes instantaneously upon meeting the water, forming rare, levitating crystals that drift through the sub-zero currents.
These seven polyhedrals were harvested from the floor of the Trench by mariners of the Frost-Fleet. Suspended within each clear crystalline shell are swirling ribbons of oceanic cobalt blue and delicate milky-white frost mist, perpetually moving as if caught in a deep underwater current.
To prevent the ice-magic from dissolving under mortal heat, dwarven runesmiths inlaid the etched numbers with a metallic copper-rose foil—a warm, conductive metal meant to safely bind the freezing spirit inside without melting its icy form:
- The Frosted Swirls: Represent the biting chill of the abyssal depths, channeling cold damage and ice magic with every roll.
- The Warm Metallic Runes: Provide the tether to the material realm, striking a sharp contrast against the icy depths like a warm flame reflected on glacial ice.
Known as The Frost-Siren’s Legacy, these dice feel cool to the touch and are favored by Tempest Clerics, Fathomless Warlocks, and Cryomancer Wizards who command the frozen forces of the sea.
