Far below the sunlit surface of the material plane, in the crushing depths of the Trench of Forgotten Souls, lies the realm of the Abyssal Tide. Here, underwater currents run thick with bioluminescent magic and ancient leyline energy, glowing in deep cerulean and shimmering electric blue.

A marid tide-shaper named Nereus the Unfathomed sought to capture the crushing weight and mysterious light of the deepest ocean floor. Using crystalline ice-glass mined from deep-sea thermal vents, Nereus froze a swirling vortex of deep ocean currents, suspended bioluminescent plankton glitter, and shadow-tinted trench water within seven geometric vessels.

To complete the artifact, Nereus painted the sunken numerals in a shimmering cobalt-blue lacquer mixed with ground sea-pearls, ensuring they would glint like a light in the dark ocean depths.
