Ignis was obsessed with capturing the transient beauty of magma cooling into glass, seeking to bind that fiery transition into permanent focal stones.

To achieve this, he used a rare alchemical process involving melted volcanic garnet and compressed ash.

The Alchemy of Fire and Shadow

• The Swirling Magma: Ignis drew forth liquid garnet-red resin, swirling it with smoky white steam and deep, pitch-black soot harvested directly from active vents.
• The Gilded Glyphs: To bind the volatile elemental forces within the sharp crystalline structures, he etched each pristine geometric face with warm, burnished bronze numerals—reminiscent of the glowing embers beneath cooled molten rock.
• The Lost Hearth: When an unexpected eruption collapsed his mountain sanctuary, the seven curing stones were buried deep beneath the cooling lava, absorbing centuries of subterranean pressure before being unearthed by intrepid prospectors.
