High up on the peaks of the Mount of Whispers, there is a legendary palace made completely of everlasting ice. The palace is guarded by ancient, friendly spirits known as Frost Phantoms. These spirits are invisible, but when they walk through the castle halls, they leave behind trails of glowing, white mist.

A young wizard apprentice climbed the freezing mountain to ask the spirits for help. Seeing his bravery, the phantoms gathered a handful of their own frozen misty breath and shaped it into a solid, clear-frost die. They dipped a feather into a pool of deep-sea ink to paint the numbers, giving it the spooky, icy look you see.
