The Rose of the Underdark

Deep within the cavernous, luminescent forests of the Feydark, there blooms a rare flower known as the Blood-Briar Orchid. It grows only where Feywild enchantments seep into dark, subterranean passages, feeding on ambient magic, shadowy decay, and liquid starlight.

According to elven legend, a court artificer attempted to preserve the orchard’s fleeting magic before the blooms withered. Casting a spell of eternal containment, the artificer crystallized the vibrant life of the blossom into seven precision-carved shards.

At the crown of each die, gold and iridescent flakes float like sunlit pollen suspended over a burst of intense, hot-magenta resin—the vibrant petal of the orchid captured in full bloom. Beneath the radiant pink, swirling ribbons of white and smoky crimson drift down into a base of obsidian darkness, representing the shadowy soil and treacherous roots from which the flower grew.

To bind this blend of radiant Fey wildness and subterranean danger, the runes were inked in a rich, metallic forest green—a sharp contrast reminiscent of the vine's thorny stems:

• The Sunlit Petals: When the glitter-crowned top numbers land, they channel charm, illusions, and explosive Fey magic.
• The Crimson Depths: When the lower faces strike, they invoke the shadow and poison of the deep Underdark.

Known as The Rose of the Underdark, these dice are favored by Warlocks of the Archfey, Trickery Clerics, and Gloom Stalker Rangers who walk the thin line between dazzling beauty and deadly shadow.
